Vision

Certification Oceania’s vision is to be “the Certification Body of choice” for governments, non-government organisations and private sector organisations throughout Australia, New Zealand and the broader Oceania and South-east Asian regions.


Objectives

Our Quality Objectives are to:

  1. maintain high ethical and professional business standards, exercising impartiality, objectivity and independence in delivery of assessment and auditing services, in accordance with ISO 17021 Conformity Assessment - Requirements for Bodies Providing Audit and Certification of Management Systems;

  2. provide timely, friendly and responsive certification, accreditation, gap analysis and compliance services to organisations and businesses seeking national and international certification outcomes;

  3. help organisations and businesses understand what services might best suit their needs and provide advice, information and support concerning options, alternatives, associated processes and expected timelines;

  4. implement and fully comply with Certification Oceania’s Privacy, Confidentiality, Information Security Policies and Certification Scheme Rules;

  5. comply with JAS-ANZ requirements, other accreditation bodies requirements and applicable legislative and regulatory requirements;

  6. ensure that assessors are appropriately experienced and competent for the auditing tasks they are undertaking;

  7. ensure appropriate resources are allocated for effective implementation of Certification Oceania’s Quality Management System policies and procedures;

  8. ensure that management, staff and contracted assessors remain abreast of changes in relevant standards, legislation and industry standards; and

  9. strive for customer satisfaction, repeat business and continual improvement.
